The long way
together.
Big Walk is a cooperative adventure about wandering, noticing things, and solving the world one strange object at a time.

SLOWLY
Start here
Bring a group.
Bring curiosity.
There is no random matchmaking and no single-player campaign. Big Walk makes more sense when you know who is holding the world, how you will get in, and why the quiet between you matters.
Check the group rulesHost the save. Use the friend list or a fresh Join Code. Treat distance as part of the voice chat.
Four things to settle
Make the first
walk work.
Check these with the group before anyone opens the world. Each item links to the verified rule behind it.
The host owns the world save, so pick someone who can reliably restart it.
Big Walk supports 2–12 players; the host chooses the matching world variant.
Use the platform friend list first, then a fresh session Join Code if needed.
Proximity voice is part of play, while text chat covers the no-mic case.
Your first route
Learn the loop
What to do when the world opens up, and how exploration becomes progress.
Get the group in
Crossplay, no matchmaking, Join Codes and the small logistics that matter.
Keep the signal
Proximity voice, text chat and controller settings for a less frantic walk.
Check before buying
Platforms, release date, price notes and the co-op decision in one place.
Field notes, not filler
The official FAQ gives the supported party range and the 2 / 3 / 4+ world choices.
Plan around people you know, the platform friend list or a session Join Code.
Keep the official ending fact separate from a future, dated playtest.
